The EQstudents project is coming to an end! On 22-23. October, 2024 we visited Nicosia, Cyprus, to accomplish two key missions: first, to summarize the activities so far and refine our tools at the EQstudents project partners’ meeting, and second, to present the results and promote their implementation at a conference organized by C.F.C.D.C. (Center For Competence Development Cyprus). The conference focused on “Emotional intelligence and its development at school and home” and presented such topics as „the benefits of emotional intelligence and why it should be included in national curricula” and the importance of learning/teaching emotional intelligence through gamification. The event was attended by approximately 50 educators, parents, students, and representatives of such organizations as Teachway Private Institute, Global College, and Eurolife. The attendees took part in interactive workshops titled “Techniques and tips for supporting emotional intelligence development through the eyes of a psychologist”.
We have put in a tremendous amount of work to ensure that the results of the EQstudents project are of the highest quality, have real relevance and can be successfully used in schools across the European Union. We hope that our tools will be a practical support for teachers and students in developing key competencies!
